I AM an interdisciplinary theatre artist: a teaching artist, voice-over artist, storyteller in picture and word, and playwright, with years of experience in theatre performance and directing.

I AM intrigued by what we create with our voices and our bodies; curious about new ways to use techniques and performance methodologies; and passionate about the reflection of humanity.

I BELIEVE that the Arts are a playground where extraordinarily complicated beings carve out a place for themselves while seeking community with others. We begin with one sense informing the others; awaiting our attention, participation, and intention.

In Japanese, the word kokoro signifies heart, spirit and soul; the heart of things; the center and the essence of the matter. In my work and in my life, I STRIVE to create kokoro by encouraging play, learning, exploration, and above all …exciting the possibilities!
